Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the FridgeRepair.pro website and summarize how our repair service works, including quotes, the diagnostic fee, parts and your responsibilities during a visit.

Last updated

These terms apply to your use of the FridgeRepair.pro website and summarize the terms of our repair service. The website and the repair service are run by Appliance Repair Pros, an independent appliance repair company based in Washington State. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Appliance Repair Pros, and “you” means the person using the website or requesting service.

By using this website or booking a service visit, you agree to these terms. The specific terms of any repair are set out in the written quote and invoice for that job. If those documents differ from this summary, the quote and invoice control.

Using this website

You may use this website to learn about our services and to contact us. Please do not use it to send spam, attempt to access systems you are not authorized to use, interfere with the site’s operation, or submit false requests.

The information on this site is general. It is meant to help you understand how refrigerators, freezers, ice makers and wine coolers work and fail, not to replace an on-site diagnosis. Appliances carry line voltage and, in some cases, refrigerant under pressure. Do not attempt repairs you are not qualified to perform, and always follow the safety instructions in your appliance’s manual.

We work to keep the information here accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that every page is complete or free of errors, and we may change content at any time.

Trademarks and brand names

Appliance brand names and trademarks mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners. We use them only to describe the appliances we service. Their use does not imply any affiliation with, authorization by or endorsement from those companies.

Our service terms

Quotes and the diagnostic fee

Each service visit begins with a $149 diagnostic visit. The technician tests the appliance, identifies the fault and gives you a written quote before any repair work starts. If you approve the quote and we complete the repair, the $149 is credited toward the repair. If you decline the repair, the diagnostic fee is due for the visit.

A quote is based on what the technician can see and test at the time. If additional problems come to light during the repair, we will stop and discuss them with you before doing work outside the approved quote.

Parts

We install OEM (original manufacturer) parts. Parts availability depends on manufacturers and suppliers, and some parts need to be ordered, which usually means a second visit. We will give you our best estimate of timing, but we cannot control supplier delays or parts the manufacturer has discontinued. If a part becomes unavailable, we will tell you and discuss the options.

Warranty

All completed repairs include a warranty on both installed replacement parts and labor. The exact terms and duration are detailed on your service invoice. The warranty covers defects in workmanship and manufacturer defects in parts installed by our technicians. It does not cover subsequent damage resulting from customer misuse, neglect, power surges or improper maintenance; unrelated component failures in the same or other appliances; or appliances subjected to prior unauthorized third-party repairs or alterations.

We are not a manufacturer’s warranty provider. Work covered by a manufacturer’s warranty should be arranged with that manufacturer.

Your responsibilities

To help us complete the work safely and efficiently, we ask that you:

  • Make sure an adult (18 or older) is present for the visit
  • Provide safe, clear access to the appliance, and keep pets secured during the visit
  • Know where the water shutoff for the appliance is, and make sure it can be operated if the job requires it
  • Tell us about any known hazards, prior repairs or water damage near the appliance
  • Give us accurate information about the appliance and the problem when you book

Some repairs, especially on built-in refrigerators, require moving the appliance out of its opening. Older flooring, water lines and shutoff valves can be fragile, and we will point out any concerns we notice before we start.

Scheduling

We give arrival windows, not exact times. Same-day visits are often possible but are never guaranteed. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as early as you can.

Limitation of liability

We take care to do every repair correctly and to protect your home during the visit. However, appliances can fail before, during or after a repair for reasons unrelated to our work. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of food, beverages, wine or other contents of an appliance, or for indirect or consequential losses, except where Washington law provides otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be limited by agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the courts of Washington State.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed. The terms that apply to a repair are those in effect when you approve the quote.
