Privacy Policy
We collect only what we need to respond to your repair request, store it securely, keep it for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner, and never sell it.
This policy explains what information FridgeRepair.pro collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what choices you have. FridgeRepair.pro is operated by Appliance Repair Pros, an independent appliance repair company in Washington State. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Appliance Repair Pros.
What we collect through the contact form
When you send a request through our contact form, we collect:
- The details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, the appliance that needs service, your city, and your message.
- Page information: the address of the page you sent the form from and the referring page (the site that brought you to us, if any).
- Technical information: your IP address and the country it is associated with. We use this to detect and block spam and abuse.
We do not ask for payment information, government ID numbers or other sensitive information through the website, and we ask you not to include any in your message.
Bot protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real visitors from automated bots. Turnstile checks signals from your browser to make that decision. It may use technically necessary cookies or browser storage to do so. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy describes how it handles that data.
How we use your information
We use the information you send to:
- Respond to your request, call or email you back, and schedule a visit
- Prepare for the visit, for example by checking parts for your appliance
- Keep a record of requests and the service we provided
- Detect and prevent spam, fraud and abuse of the website
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you sent a service request.
Where it is stored
Each request is delivered to our service team. A copy of each request is also stored in our Cloudflare account using Cloudflare Workers KV, a data storage service. We keep that copy so that requests are not lost if a delivery fails, and for our business records.
Cloudflare also hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form requests for up to 12 months. After that, they are deleted. If you ask us to delete your request sooner, we will, unless we need to keep a record of a completed job for legal, tax or accounting reasons, in which case we keep only what that purpose requires.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We share information only:
- With service providers that help us run the website and our business, such as Cloudflare, and only for that purpose
- With a parts supplier or manufacturer when needed to order a part for your appliance, limited to what the order requires
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, our staff or the public
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set technically necessary cookies or use browser storage to perform its bot check. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but the contact form may not work if Turnstile cannot run. You can always reach us by phone instead.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information
We honor these requests for Washington residents and for anyone else who contacts us. To make a request, email service@fridgerepair.pro from the address you used on the form, or tell us the phone number you gave us, so we can find your records and confirm the request is yours. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to request data to the people who need it to schedule and carry out service. No method of storing or sending data over the internet is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Children
This website is meant for adults arranging appliance repair. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or practices change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated. If we make a significant change in how we use your information, we will describe it here.
