True Residential (marketed as True Caliber since 2024) is the residential division of True Manufacturing Co., a St. Louis, Missouri-based company founded in 1945 that built its reputation manufacturing commercial refrigeration equipment. The residential line was launched in the mid-2000s to bring commercial-grade refrigeration quality to the home market. True Residential is distinctive for being manufactured entirely in the USA from industry-exclusive 300-series stainless steel for both interior and exterior surfaces. Their products feature two separate compressors and two separate evaporators (one for the refrigerator section, one for the freezer), which prevents odor transfer between compartments and allows each section to maintain optimal humidity levels independently. True Residential occupies the ultra-premium end of the US residential refrigerator market, with products priced above most European luxury brands. All undercounter models (TUR and TUF lines) are UL-rated for outdoor use. True Residential is sold exclusively through premium appliance dealers in the USA and Canada.
