U-Line Corporation, founded in 1962 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by Henry Uihlein as an outgrowth of the Ben-Hur Freezer Company, pioneered the first automatic stand-alone undercounter residential ice maker and introduced the first U.S. residential Combo Model Ice Maker/Refrigerator in 1971. The brand specializes exclusively in undercounter built-in refrigeration for residential and light commercial use, including ice makers (crescent, clear, and nugget ice), wine storage, beverage centers, refrigerators, and convertible freezers. U-Line products are manufactured in the USA and sold across North America through premium appliance dealers.
