## The Liebherr lineup

### Monolith

Monolith is Liebherr’s flagship built-in line: tall refrigerator, freezer and wine columns that can be paired or combined. Units are offered panel-ready for a fully integrated look or with stainless fronts. Freezer columns include an ice maker.

### Integrated refrigerators and freezers

Liebherr also builds fully integrated refrigerators, freezers and combination units that sit behind cabinet doors. They are compact and fitted closely into the cabinetry.

### Freestanding refrigerators and freezers

Liebherr’s freestanding range includes narrow bottom-freezer refrigerators, all-refrigerator and all-freezer units. These suit kitchens where a standard 36-inch refrigerator will not fit.

### Wine cabinets

Liebherr sells freestanding, built-in and undercounter wine cabinets. Multi-zone models, sold under names such as Vinidor, let reds and whites sit at different settings.

## Liebherr features that come up in repair

- **BioFresh.** Special drawers run just above freezing, often with humidity control. They need accurate sensors and controls, and small errors are easy to notice.
- **NoFrost freezers.** NoFrost means automatic defrost with a fan-forced system. Heavy frost means that system is not doing its job.
- **Electronic controls.** Temperatures, alarms and many features run through a digital display. Alarms often appear before you notice a temperature change.

## Finding the model and serial number

The Liebherr rating label is inside the refrigerator compartment, usually on a side wall low down beside the drawers. On wine cabinets, check the inside walls. A photo of the label lets us look up the exact parts.

## Liebherr repair FAQ

### What is BioFresh, and why is my BioFresh drawer freezing food?

BioFresh is Liebherr's name for drawers that hold produce, meat and fish just above freezing, often with humidity control. Because they run so close to freezing, a small sensor or control error can push food into frost. Check that the drawer is fully closed and that the setting has not been changed. If produce keeps freezing, we test the drawer's sensor, fan and controls.

### How long do Liebherr parts take?

It varies with the part. Common items like gaskets, fans and sensors are often available in days. Model-specific electronics and Monolith parts can come from Europe and may take a few weeks. We check availability with your model and serial number before quoting, and if a part is slow, we tell you whether the unit can keep running safely in the meantime.

### Is a Liebherr worth repairing?

Usually, especially for built-in and Monolith units. Liebherr refrigerators are well built, and most failures are fans, controls, sensors, defrost components or door hardware rather than the sealed system.
